Amy Smilovic cited her inspiration as "a terribly chic American ingénue traveling throughout Africa, she's starring role in a Tennessee Williams play set in the Kalahari." Her muse is a young Elizabeth Taylor, and the innocent-meets-sexy attitude is evidenced in the collection, from a white strapless bustier top pair with a serene grey knee-length skirt to a green gingham bra-top paired with a full skirt with oversized pockets, an adorable outfit fit reminiscent of any Lolita figure, feminine and boyish at once.
